PolyMAT is a small but ambitious Multi-Academy Trust with a unique family feel. Our vision is Success for Everyone, and we are seeking a dedicated Exams Assistant to support the effective administration and delivery of examinations.
We currently comprise three schools:
- Woolwich Polytechnic School for Boys - a long-established and successful boys’ secondary school
- Woolwich Polytechnic School for Girls - opened in 2019 and has quickly become a beacon of success and progress
- Bannockburn Primary School - a large, successful primary school that joined the Trust in November 2023
We also have a thriving co-educational Sixth Form provision.

Woolwich Polytechnic School for Boys is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Exams Assistant to support the Exams Officer in the administration and coordination of internal and external examinations. This role is vital in ensuring examinations are conducted efficiently, securely, and in full compliance with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations and awarding body requirements.
The successful candidate will be required to play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the examination process and support students throughout their examination journey.

- Strong administrative experience and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads, work independently, and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Accuracy and attention to detail when working with sensitive information
- A flexible and proactive approach to work
- Experience in a school or examinations environment would be advantageous but is not essential
