Exams Officer & Admin Assistant job summary
Crowdys Hill School is a dynamic and forward thinking special school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties and complex needs. From September 2025 we will cater for over 350 pupils from across the Borough of Swindon and beyond, from the age of 4 up to 19.
We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic Exams Officer/Admin Support Assistant to work part time in our close knit admin team.
You will work as the Exams Officer across our school sites undertaking all aspects of the Exam Officer role under the direction of the Senior Admin Managers & School Business Manager.
This post is for 19.5 hours per week Wednesday-Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm these are non-negotiable,
The role will include:-
- all aspects of the Exam Officer role (see application pack for full details)
- keeping an up to date record of all school policies, sending these for updating and to governors for approval as and when required;
- production and collation of interim and annual report for the whole school;
- oversee the administration of all after school clubs;
- oversee the administration of the school immunisation program in school;
- use of SIMS;
- general clerical duties including typing of letters and termly newsletter to a high standard;
- other tasks as required by the Admin Team;
- cover our busy reception for breaks, lunchtimes and every Friday afternoon.
You must be a highly organised individual, flexible in your approach, efficient and able to priortise workloads.
You must also be able to work well under pressure, to tight deadlines and most importantly you must be able to use your own initiative and have great attention to detail.
This post is term time only plus staff training days and 1 week in August to coincide with results day.
