Executive Assistant job summary

First Federation Trust are looking to appoint an Executive Assistant to support the senior leadership and central team. This is an exciting new role to support the needs of our successful Trust. This varied role covers a wide range of duties and is both challenging and highly rewarding. If you are organised, sociable and thrive on busy schedules where no two days are the same, this role could be for you and we would love to hear from you. 


As Executive Assistant, you will provide high-quality administrative and organisational support, helping to ensure the smooth running of the Trust and its schools. Excellent IT skills and the ability to work to deadlines within a busy environment is essential. The successful candidate will be a highly organised and resilient professional with outstanding communication skills and a genuine interest in education. The role will involve:


  • Diary and Calendar management
  • Inbox and Communication triage
  • Meeting and Board support
  • Travel and Logistics management
  • Project and Event co-ordination

  • The successful candidate will:

  • be educated to A-level standard or equivalent
  • thrive in a fast paced environment
  • be confident handling sensitive information
  • have experience of working alongside senior leaders
  • have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • be resilient and adaptable under pressure

  • We have Trust offices in Newton Abbot, Exmouth, Charmouth and Sidmouth and there is flexibility for this to be a hybrid role for the successful candidate. Some attendance at meetings outside of the usual working hours may be required.
