Executive Assistant job summary
An exciting opportunity at the heart of our Trust
Are you a highly organised, proactive professional looking for a role where you can really make a difference? We are looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to join our central team, and this is a genuinely exciting moment to do so: our organisation is growing, our ambitions are high, and we are investing in the people who will help us get there.
A role that mattersThis is a pivotal role. As our Executive Assistant, you will work closely with the CEO and wider leadership team, gaining real insight into how a multi-academy trust operates. The role spans governance and HR administration, communications, data reporting, and events; no two days will be the same! You will have genuine ownership of your work and the satisfaction of knowing it has a direct impact across our family of 12 Catholic schools.
A culture built on trustWe are building a culture where people feel valued, trusted, and heard. You will be joining a small, warm, collaborative central team where your ideas will be taken seriously. We also understand that life outside work matters: we offer a genuine blend of on-site and remote working, and are open to flexible and part-time arrangements.
What we are looking forWe are looking for someone who is organised, discreet, and good at managing competing priorities, with solid experience in a senior administrative or executive support role. We are not looking for perfection; we are looking for someone who communicates openly, and is willing to learn and grow with us.
You will understand what it means to be genuinely useful to the people around you and will demonstrate this through your responsive, reliable, and dependable nature. Experience in governance, HR, or communications would be an advantage, and familiarity with schools or MATs is helpful though not essential.
As a Catholic Trust faith is at the heart of everything we do, and we ask all our staff to respect and support our ethos and values, though you do not need to share our faith to apply.
We can offer
The opportunity to work within a forward-thinking multi-academy trust, committed to achieving excellence through careful implementation, purposeful collaboration and people growth;
Belonging to a professional, supportive and dynamic Trust Executive Team;
Flexible working arrangements;
Membership of the generous Local Government Pension Scheme;
A 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme;
Ongoing professional development and a commitment to wellbeing, as set out in our Staff Charter.
