We are seeking an outstanding and inspirational leader to shape the future of two exceptional nursery schools.

The Governing Body is looking to appoint an outstanding Executive Head Teacher with the passion, vision, drive and commitment to build upon our success and lead Washwood Heath Nursery School and Bordesley Green East Nursery School into an exciting, ambitious and vibrant future. Both schools have a proud history of delivering high-quality early education and creating nurturing, inclusive environments where every child is valued, supported and encouraged to flourish. We believe that the early years provide the foundation for lifelong learning and achievement, and we are seeking a leader who shares this belief and is committed to making a lasting difference to the lives of young children and their families.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be a truly inspirational leader who can balance strategic vision with operational excellence. They will combine strong leadership and management skills with extensive knowledge of child development, early years pedagogy and staff development.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a clear and ambitious vision for excellence in early years education.

  • Demonstrates strong strategic leadership and organisational skills.

  • Has a thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

  • Fosters play-based learning and child-centred practice.

  • Is passionate about early intervention and improving outcomes for all children.

  • Promotes inclusive practice and has a strong understanding of SEND provision.

  • Prioritises children's social, emotional and mental well-being.

  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and ensures that all staff share this commitment.

  • Builds positive and collaborative relationships with staff, parents, governors and the wider community.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead two successful nursery schools and further develop a culture of excellence, inclusion and innovation.
