About the role

We are seeking to recruit an Executive Headteacher for Inspire Education Trust.

This is a new role which seeks to provide strategic and professional leadership as Executive Headteacher for the trust and hold overall accountability for the direction of a group of Inspire schools. Commencing the role as soon as possible, the Executive Headteacher will further develop and deliver the vision, ethos, strategy and performance necessary to provide outstanding education for Inspire pupils.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Substantial leadership experience in more than one setting and across at least two Stages from EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • It would be advantageous to possess experience in leading whole-school / trust primary curriculum
  • NPQH, NPQEL or working towards
  • Understanding of high-quality education across the primary age range, and the importance of subject knowledge and subject pedagogy.
  • Demonstrable track record in raising standards across primary provision.
  • Able to enable a strong sense of accountability in staff.

All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children’s welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy.
