What skills and experience we're looking for

The Role: We are looking for an experienced teacher who is confident in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the wider school community and participate in our continuous drive for excellence. The role will involve an opportunity to lead a subject area or take on a leadership role within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), depending on experience and interest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and engage pupils.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the academic, social and emotional development of all children
  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities, school events and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience in a primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to the wellbeing and development of every child.

Desirable:

  • Experience in leading a subject area
  • Experience in leading Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Strong ICT skills to support teaching and learning.
  • Willingness to engage in continued professional development.
