We offer the opportunity to develop as a specialist lead teacher within Chestnut Park, including supporting other schools as well as growing your own middle leadership skills. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, innovative and passionate experienced class teacher who is keen to grow their own middle leadership skills in an Outstanding school. The class teacher will work in partnership with the middle leadership team and senior leadership team to provide professional guidance and support in teaching across the curriculum. The right candidate will have the passion and knowledge to drive standards forward in a specific area. They will have the responsibility of a class as well as leadership time to ensure their strategies can be embedded across the school. We are a three-form entry primary school in the heart of Croydon, catering for children aged between 4 and 11. This year we will be at full capacity and will be welcoming our first year 6.

At Chestnut Park we have a passionate and dedicated team of staff who make great efforts to support the children to achieve their full potential by ensuring they are inspired by what they are learning. This is underpinned by an innovative tailored-made curriculum that has been created to engage, excite, and inspire the children. It gives them the opportunities and experiences, and teaches them a range of skills and knowledge to reinforce their love and passion for learning.

We are incredibly proud of our children at Chestnut Park and delighted to say that our children see our school as a safe place to be. Somewhere where they feel happy and valued.
