The role
- Post: EYFS Teaching Assistant
- Job Type: Fixed Term Basis
- Working Pattern: 08.30-15.30 (32.5 hours per week)
- Number of working weeks: 39 weeks a year
- Bucks Pay Range: 1b point - 10
- FTE Salary: £23,297 - 24,950
The role would involve:
Supporting the Early Years team in creating a nurturing, stimulating and safe environment
Helping children with their learning through play, exploration and guided activities
Building positive relationships with children, staff and families
Assisting with daily routines such as setting up the environment and re-setting resources
Encouraging independence and assisting children with their self-care
This position is a wonderful opportunity to support our youngest learners during one of the most joyful and formative stages of their school journey.
We would like to hear from applicants who have:
A minimum Level 3 qualification in a Dfe approved qualification
A good standard of numeracy and literacy (GCSE grade 4-9 or equivalent)
A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and child development.
