Are you passionate about the arts and eager to support the next generation of creative minds? Hawkley Hall High School are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Expressive Arts Technician to join our vibrant and forward-thinking team.
The Role
As our Expressive Arts Technician, you will:
- Support teachers and students in the preparation and use of specialist equipment and materials.
- Set up and maintain audio/visual and ICT equipment for lessons.
- Assist with practical lessons, ensuring a safe and productive environment.
- Manage stock, prepare orders, and maintain departmental records.
- Provide administrative support and contribute to displays and exhibitions.
- Be a key part of the faculty’s creative and collaborative ethos.
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
- GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above) or equivalent.
- Level 2 qualification in an arts-related subject.
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Word & Excel).
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach.
- A full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- Experience in an educational or arts industry setting.
- First Aid training (or willingness to undertake it).
- Basic Health & Safety certification.
