Extended Services Lead (After School Club) job summary
Deanwood Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Extended Services Lead (After School Club) to join the Wrap Around Care Department, to start from 26th August 2026.
The purpose of the Extended Services Lead role is to oversee the delivery of a safe, inclusive and engaging wraparound care provision for pupils. The postholder will be responsible for planning and leading a range of age-appropriate activities that support children’s social, emotional and physical development, while ensuring a positive and nurturing environment. They will also play a key role in maintaining high standards of care, supporting pupils’ wellbeing, and working collaboratively with school staff, parents and carers to ensure a high-quality extended services experience.

This is a Part time, Fixed Term temporay role, Term Time Only paid on the NJC PAY SCALE D1 point 2-6 (FTE £24,413.00 - £25,989.00 - actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £6,896.49 - £7,341.70 per annum)
The working pattern will consist of 12.5 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 3pm - 6pm, Plus an additional 30 minutes for Admin time per week.
