Byron Wood Primary Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Class Teacher to join our vibrant team on a one-year maternity cover. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young learners in a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to thrive.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, engaging EYFS teaching that supports all learners
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
- Plan and assess learning in line with EYFS curriculum and individual needs
- Promote positive behaviour and uphold the academy’s values
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies
- Support pupils with SEND through adaptive and inclusive strategies
- Contribute to the wider life of the academy, including enrichment activities
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience or strong interest in EYFS teaching
- A reflective, enthusiastic approach to classroom practice
- High expectations for all pupils and a commitment to inclusion
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for early years education and child development
