What skills and experience we're looking for

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to join our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Team at Hill Farm Primary. We are looking for an inspiring and excellent practitioner to help nurture our youngest learners.

The successful applicant will:

  • Be a passionate and effective classroom practitioner with a strong commitment to early childhood education;
  • Have the ability to engage, enthuse, and motivate children and their families;
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and its principles;
  • Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity and exploration;
  • Be skilled in planning and delivering a curriculum that meets the diverse needs of all children, ensuring that learning is both enjoyable and challenging;
  • Be a reflective practitioner who is committed to continuous professional development and improvement;
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support children's learning and development.

You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to providing each child with the personal support and challenge they need to progress and reach their full potential. We are dedicated to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported. Our approach to learning is holistic, drawing from a wealth of extended learning opportunities and enrichment activities. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming and supportive workplace, where everyone recognises the excitement of working together, regardless of their career stage. We invest in building strong relationships and effective teams to share innovative practises that promote children’s achievements.

Our motivation is that every child can achieve their developmental milestones with the right support. We understand where the children are in their learning journey and provide the necessary scaffolding to help them progress. If you share this philosophy and are eager to make a difference in the lives of young learners, we would love to hear from you.

We will play to your strengths and can offer you:
