What skills and experience we're looking for

Hillcrest Academy is seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague for the role of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Class Teacher. This is a key role within our Academy, with the successful candidate responsible for nurturing and inspiring young learners to develop across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage, fostering a love of learning through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences. This opportunity is open to both Early Career Teachers and more experienced colleagues.

Potential applicants should:

be either:

  • A trainee teacher who is successfully completing placement(s) teaching (applicants currently in training).

or:

  • A colleague with a successful record of teaching with strong examination results at one or more key stages (applicants who have already gained Qualified Teacher Status).

Applicants should also have:

  • A detailed knowledge of current developments in education including the effective use of the Pupil Premium.
  • The ability to put vision into practice.

** Hillcrest Academy is a larger-than-average primary school located in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The school provides places for around 400 pupils aged 3-11.
