Salary: Main/Upper Scale National Teacher Pay Scale plus a responsibility allowance for suitable candidate

This is a full-time teaching post (100%)

We are looking for an energetic, dedicated and forward-thinking EYFS & Key Stage One Phase Leader at Bar Hill Primary School. This is for a maternity cover role from the second half of the Spring Term (February 2026) and will include a teaching responsibility in our Reception Class. You will be part of a fantastic team of teachers and support staff working closely together to create exciting and creative learning opportunities for our children. Our family of schools provide exceptional support and professional development opportunities for all of our staff.

Will have a QTS teaching qualification with a teaching background and, ideally, leadership experience in EYFS/Key Stage One

Will possess outstanding communication skills and can work successfully in teams

Has high expectations for themselves and cares about delivering high quality lessons

Has a thorough understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
