Would you like the opportunity to work with a team who are passionate about education and getting the best out of all pupils?

We are currently seeking to appoint a teacher for September 2026 until Easter 2027 to join our hard working and motivated team.

Freeland CE Primary School is a friendly, small village school with 130 pupils including a nursery.

Our ideal candidate will be:

  • An excellent class teacher with successful experience of teaching in Reception/KS1, who loves working with children and inspires them to achieve high standards and realise their potential.

  • A great team player who can work successfully in collaboration with others.

  • Have the highest expectations for all pupils, to ensure they reach their full potential.

  • innovative and creative in delivering outstanding lessons within an extremely positive and stimulating learning environment.

  • Able to positively promote inclusion and have high expectations for all children.

  • Able to implement excellent behaviour management strategies with a positive approach.

  • Able to communicate effectively with parents.

  • Able to promote our values and support our ethos, as a church school.

  • Able to lead a core subject
