The successful candidate will be/have:-
Able to plan, inspirational learning experiences, personalise learning and ensure high quality interaction
Able to plan an enabling child-centred environment that provides effective care and teaching and learning that all children to progress
Able to work closely with parents and carers to build positive relationships and ensure that they are informed and engaged in their child's learning journey
Committed and work well in a team with a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude
Confidently able to create a calm, safe ordered learning environment and help children to self-regulate and take responsibility for their own behaviour
An aspirational, reflective and empathetic practitioner
Receptive to new ideas and approaches
An understanding of the depth and breadth of inclusivity and equality
Skilled at teaching children for whom English is an additional language

Parkfield is a two form entry Primary Academy in North West London. 94% of the children speak more than one language and between them they can speak over 50. Our curriculum is designed to be challenging but at the same time fun and creative. We start from the children's many experiences and offer them as wide a range of opportunities as possible.
