Harborne Primary School is a vibrant, inclusive and ambitious school operating across two sites - Station Road and Court Oak Road - and serving 808 wonderful pupils. About the Role

This permanent EYFS/ Key Stage One teaching post offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a phase that is central to early learning, foundational knowledge and the development of confident, independent learners.

The role involves:

  • Delivering high‑quality teaching through well‑structured planning, assessment and responsive instruction
  • Ensuring strong progress for all pupils through effective use of assessment for learning and adaptive teaching
  • Working collaboratively within a supportive, solution‑focused team, including joint PPA time that enables shared planning and curriculum consistency
  • Contributing to a rich, engaging and ambitious curriculum that reflects our school values and high expectations
  • Participating in our wide‑ranging CPD programme, aligned with both school priorities and your professional aspirations
  • Engaging with regional and national networks to stay connected to current educational research and best practice
  • Supporting the wider life of the school through pastoral responsibilities, enrichment activities and community engagement
  • Upholding the highest standards in safeguarding, behaviour and professional conduct
