Purpose:
As an EYFS/KS1 Class Teacher, you will be an inspirational leader of learning for children at the very start of their educational journey. Working within our joyful and vibrant environment, you will utilise our superb site and forest school to provide a rich, broad experience where pupils play, learn and laugh together.
By collaborating with the SENDCO and the wider Amplify Education team, you will plan and adapt high quality teaching that ensures every child makes excellent progress. You will empower students to be 'on TRACK', fostering an inclusive atmosphere where high expectations and compassion lie at the heart of the classroom. Ultimately, you will play a transformative role in our school community, ensuring that every young person has the academic and emotional foundation to thrive and achieve their full potential.
Duties (further details in the attached application pack):
- Deliver consistently high quality teaching to a designated class to ensure all pupils make good or better progress.
- Plan and evaluate adapted programmes of work that include reasonable adjustments for children with special educational needs.
- Use various formative assessment strategies to record progress and set clear targets based on prior attainment.
- Promote the vision and values of Little Mead Primary Academy and the Amplify Education Trust to help all pupils be 'on TRACK'.
- Maintain a well organised and safe learning environment that offers a rich and broad experience through high standards of display.
- Work cooperatively with the senior leadership team and colleagues to achieve the specific aims of the School Development Plan.
- Take responsibility for continuous professional development by engaging with current research and attending weekly meetings.
- Build positive relationships with parents and the wider community to review pupil progress and support the best possible education.
- Lead a specific subject area and contribute to a subject team to hold accountability for pupil progress across the school.

Fluency Duty
