What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidates willhave: 

  • A full and relevant qualification accepted by the Department for Education (DfE) to work in anearly yearssetting

  • Secure knowledge and understanding of the Early YearsStatutoryFramework. 

  • Good understanding of a child’s development and learning.  

The successful candidates willbe able to:

  • Support children’s Communication and Language developmentbyengaging inhigh-quality interactions.

  • Use theirInitiativeand contribute towardscreatinga stimulating learning environment both indoors and outdoors.

  • Assistwith the preparation of teaching resources or materials.

  • Work with groups of childrenacross a range of learning activities.

  • Provide supportto individualpupils, including those with specialeducationalneeds ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.

  • Supportchildrenwith theirpersonalcare.

  • Communicatesensitively and effectively withall stakeholders including staff,childrenand parents/carers.
