EYFS Lead required
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependant on experience) + TLR2A - £3,920.00 per annum
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Lead to teach one of reception classes for 4-5-year-old children.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Early Years educator to work within our highly motivated, passionate team.
Key roles will include:
* Lead our large EY department - 2 Reception classes, 2 part time Nursery classes, 1 full time Nursery class and 1 Pre school class of 2 Year olds.
* Work with SLT to oversee monitoring, assessment, curriculum development leading the phase.
* Work confidently and effectively with the PCLC trust schools and central team
* Enjoy teaching and being part of a dedicated and committed teaching team, be a good role model and lead by example.
* Be an excellent practitioner with energy and a commitment to make a difference to pupil's lives and support others to do the same.
* Have a strong grasp of national strategies and the EYFS Framework.
* Have a good understanding of child development and how children learn.
* Can use formative and summative assessment effectively to ensure children make excellent progress and support others to do so.
* Be understanding of, and be prepared to follow, a restorative approach to behaviour management and the TPP approach.
* Be open to personal development and learning.
* Want to make learning engaging and fun for our children, oversee and lead others to do the same!
32.5 hours per week
52.14 working weeks per year (52.14 paid weeks per year)
