· Can lead, inspire and develop others, building a strong and cohesive EYFS team.
· Values parental engagement and understands the critical importance of transition and next-stage readiness.
· Is committed to continuous professional development, both for themselves and for the wider team.
· Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and can work effectively with staff, families, governors, external professionals and Trust colleagues.
As EYFS Lead, you will:
· Provide strategic leadership for the development, implementation and ongoing review of a high-quality EYFS curriculum.
· Lead, support and hold to account staff within the EYFS unit to ensure consistently strong teaching and provision.
· Oversee assessment systems to ensure accurate identification of children’s starting points, progress and next steps.
· Coordinate and quality assure interventions delivered internally and by external professionals.
· Monitor the impact of provision and report regularly to senior leaders and governors.
· Champion high expectations, inclusion and a culture of continuous improvement across the EYFS.
In return, we offer:
· A welcoming community and a highly motivated, professional staff team that are driven towards continuously raising standards.
· Excellent professional development opportunities through an extensive range of network groups and other Transform Trust initiatives.
· Calm and purposeful learning environments.
· Excellent partnerships between pupils, staff, parents, governors and our wider community.
