Burford Primary and Nursery School is seeking to appoint an excellent teaching practitioner who is child-centred, passionate about making a real difference and has high expectations both of themselves and the children they work with.
Sitting on the border of the City of Nottingham in Arnold, Burford Primary & Nursery School a single form entry school with around 50% of catchment eligible for Pupil Premium. We are a warm, dedicated and driven team who keep children at the heart of all we do. We are looking for an ambitious teacher who is committed to creating a stimulating learning experience and environment for our wonderful pupils. Due to upcoming staff maternity leave, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, creative and hard-working teacher, committed to excellent classroom practice and high standards for all who can positively enthuse and motivate our children.
You will:
● Be a consistently good / outstanding primary teacher
● Be passionate about teaching and learning and making a difference to every child.
● Care passionately about children and their development whilst still driving forward pupil progress and achievement.
● Value a team working approach and be keen to contribute and share your skills with colleagues
● Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build on and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents and carers, children, governors and the local and wider community.
