EYFS Leader (TLR) job summary

Plaistow Hill Primary and Nursery School are looking to appoint a new Early Years Lead to our team. This is an exciting position in a school with a thriving Early Years setting, with responsibility for teaching Reception/Year 1. This position comes with a TLR3 (£1,696)

Candidates should have:

Successful experience of early years leadership

Understanding of child development from 2 years

Understanding of high-quality teaching and learning strategies in EYFS and KS1, and the ability to model this for others and support others to improve

Enthusiasm to work collaboratively with LAT colleagues and Early Years leads

Plaistow Hill Primary and Nursery school is a small one form entry school in Plymouth. We pride ourselves on having a village school feeling in the city. We have great relationships with children and families ensuring a holistic approach to learning. Our dedicated staff have formed close working relationships to foster growth and collaboration. We are situated close to local woodland where we regularly have forest school sessions and our outdoor space provides perfect opportunities for outdoor learning.
