What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an experienced and passionate EYFS Leader to lead, inspire and support the large, experienced and wonderful phase team at Danetree Primary School. If you are a dedicated and inspiring practitioner with a commitment to excellence, we would love to hear from you!
Your opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, talented and professional leader who shares our vision of high aspirations and achievement with a passion for learning. You will be prepared to work hard and respond positively to the challenges of day to day school life. You will also be innovative and creative in your teaching and be a strong team player.
This is a non-classroom based roll but some PPA cover may be required (Up to 0.2)
This is an excellent opportunity to lead the phase and work collaboratively within our friendly and supportive team from September 2025.
What we are looking for
- Experience of teaching in EYFS, both Nursery and Reception. (QTS)
- Be dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated
- Be able to develop positive relationships with young children
- Be able to develop an understanding of the educational, welfare and social needs of the children whom we are supporting
- Be able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour
- Be enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team
- Be a confident and clear communicator with parents
- A commitment to raise the achievement of all students of all abilities
- A successful track record of improving performance outcomes
- Experience in EY SEND and obtaining EIF is desirable.

Hours:80/100ths (Full-time would also be considered)
