Due to internal promotion we are looking for:
EYFS TEACHER IN RECEPTION - permanent fulltime position
We are seeking an enthusiastic and fun teacher to work in our reception team who has a wholesome and authentic appreciation for high quality early education. We are a large Infant and Nursery school that values a holistic approach to supporting children's development and learning. We have a vacancy within our reception team and are keen to find the right person.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Understands how young children think, learn and develop
- Is passionate in providing high quality Early Years provision
- Can use a range of strategies to nurture and support children’s emotional well-being
- Has a current knowledge of the demands of the EYFS frame-work
- Will actively engage in shaping provision to promote outstanding practice and outcomes for all children
- Has high aspirations for all children and can demonstrate how to enable all children to make accelerated progress from their starting points, including children with SEND
- Has experience in using effective team management skills and has excellent inter-personal skills, energy, resilience and creativity
- Has the ability to build strong positive relationships with colleagues and families
- Can demonstrate how to plan to maximise speech and language development and early reading skills
- Enjoys being part of a happy, hard-working and fun team.

Our school is a larger than average infant school, located near the University of East Anglia and in the middle of the dynamic West Earlham community, situated approximately 2.5 miles from the centre of the historic city of Norwich. We have a purpose built nursery which has the capacity for over 100 of our youngest learners. We have educational provision for 2 year olds – 7 year olds
