What skills and experience we're looking for

This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who would like to gain leadership experience. Head Teacher works across two school sites so therefore there would be an opportunity to ‘deputise’ for part of the week for an additional allowance which can be discussed.

This role could also be considered as part of a ‘secondment agreement’ if schools would release someone who would like to gain more leadership experience on a temporary basis.

Talking with and listening to the children will feature greatly in our daily routine. We aim to build good relationships and to develop the children's self esteem and self-confidence. When a child feels valued and respected, he or she in turn will value and respect others. Young children learn best through play and first hand experiences. We believe it is important to have a balance of small group activities where each Key Person teaches the children new ideas and conceptsand then free choice time where children can use our extensive range of resources to practise and apply the skills they have been taught.
