EYFS teacher job summary

Inspire curiosity. Nurture confidence. Build foundations for lifelong learning. Join a bold and ambitious all-through academy.

King’s Academy Binfield is seeking to appoint a passionate, dynamic and innovative EYFS Class Teacher to join our ambitious and growing academy community.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a thriving Early Years team within a forward-thinking all-through school, where curiosity, creativity and high-quality learning are at the heart of what we do. You will play a vital role in providing children with the strongest possible start to their educational journey, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can flourish.

At King’s Academy Binfield, we believe the Early Years Foundation Stage is a crucial part of our curriculum and our wider vision of providing opportunity and success on a global stage. We recognise that children learn best through exploration, play, purposeful interaction and carefully planned experiences. Our engaging learning environments and ambitious curriculum support children in developing the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to become happy, resilient and successful learners.

Our Early Years provision is characterised by:

  • A strong commitment to high-quality early years practice and continuous professional development.
  • A collaborative and supportive team culture, where ideas, expertise and best practice are shared.
  • A reflective approach to teaching and learning, with a focus on continual improvement and child development.
  • A clear understanding of the importance of ambitious curriculum design and high-quality provision.
  • A genuine commitment to staff wellbeing and professional trust.

As part of our all-through academy, you will benefit from working within a unique educational environment spanning Nursery to Post-16, offering opportunities to understand and contribute to the full educational journey of our pupils. Our growing academy provides exciting opportunities for professional development and career progression.

We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who can inspire and nurture young children to achieve their very best. The successful candidate will:

  • Have a passion for Early Years education and a commitment to providing exceptional learning experiences for all children.
  • Demonstrate the ability to engage, challenge and support all learners through a balance of child-initiated and adult-led learning.
  • Create a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes children's independence, confidence and wellbeing.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues to support every child's development and success.
  • Thrive as part of a collaborative team and contribute to the wider life of the academy.
  • Be reflective, ambitious and committed to their own professional development.

We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who embody our core values of Honesty, Faith and Courage — approaching their work with integrity, optimism and a determination to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children.

King’s Academy Binfield is a vibrant, inclusive and ambitious school, where staff are supported, valued and empowered to grow. Collaboration, professional respect and shared purpose underpin everything we do, ensuring that both pupils and staff can flourish.
