We are seeking to appoint a passionate, dedicated, and inspirational Early Years Teacher (Nursery Lead) to join our hugely improved school and nursery. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed practitioner to play a key role in raising standards by inspiring, nurturing, and challenging all children to achieve their full potential.
You will be joining a caring and inclusive setting within a supportive trust that places a strong emphasis on staff wellbeing and high-quality CPD opportunities.
About the Role
The successful candidate will lead our Nursery provision, ensuring high-quality teaching, learning, and care for our youngest children. You will work closely with colleagues, families, and external agencies to provide a rich, stimulating, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Be a skilled and experienced Early Years practitioner with a passion for teaching and learning.
- Have a strong understanding of child development and believe firmly in the potential of every child.
- Be confident in leading and managing the Nursery team, driving high expectations and best practice.
- Demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding, adopting an attachment and relationship-based approach to behaviour, with awareness of how ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) impact learning and development.
- Be proactive, flexible, and willing to take initiative.
- Be hardworking, reflective, creative, and energetic in their approach to teaching.
- Have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
- Uphold and model our ‘adult consistencies’ and school values at all times.
