EYFS Teacher job summary
It is an exciting time to join Glenvale! Having served the Wilby community for 170 years, we secured the opportunity to move into a fantastic, new, purpose-built school building on the Glenvale Park development. We moved to this new space in September 2024, and we are continuing to expand and grow.
We now require an EYFS teacher to join our committed team as we embark on our journey to becoming a two-form entry school. We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic teacher who is eager to develop their career and is dedicated to supporting and inspiring the wonderful children in our school.
We are looking for someone who:
Is enthusiastic, approachable and friendly
Is up to date with current research around Quality First Teaching and Early Years practice (Nursery and Reception)
Can ensure all children feel safe, happy and able to learn to the best of their ability and reach their full potential
Is knowledgeable and has the skills to meet the requirements of the EYFS Framework, including a good understanding of early reading
Can build effective relationships with pupils, parents and external agencies to support a smooth transition into school
Can create a stimulating and engaging learning environment tailored to the needs of the pupils
Supports the ethos of a Church and Trust school
