The Olive School, Blackburn is a 630 place Muslim faith based primary school. The school opened in September 2013 with 90 Reception, 90 Year 1 and 60 Year 2 children. It will build up its pupil numbers year on year. It has a caring, inclusive ethos and welcomes applications from parents and pupils of all faiths and none. Like all Star schools, it has “Leadership” as a specialism.
The school has the highest expectations. Children get one chance for an education and the school is determined to ensure it is the best. High quality teaching and learning opportunities enable children to fulfil their true potential and develop a love for learning.
The Olive School, Blackburn was assessed as “outstanding” in every category at its first Ofsted inspection in June 2015.
