We are a nurturing and inclusive primary school located in the heart of Islington, committed to giving every child the best possible start in life. We are looking to appoint a Level 3 qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated Early Years team.


The Role:

You will work closely with the class teacher and Early Years team to:

  • Support the delivery of high-quality early years education and care
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
  • Promote positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
  • Observe, assess, and support individual children’s development

Essential Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Education (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
  • A clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • A nurturing, proactive, and professional approach
  • Experience working with young children, particularly in a 2-year-old setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of child development and early years curriculum.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patient, caring, and enthusiastic about early childhood education.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Paediatric First Aid certificate
  • Food Safety training/certification
