What skills and experience we're looking for

The Gordon Children’s Academy are seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant tosupport the class teacher in the teaching and welfare of pupils, promotingpositivebehaviourpatterns, raisingself-esteemand improving independent working in pupils toassistin their education and growth.The successful candidate willassistthe teacher with observation and monitoring of the progress of pupils,maintainingaccuraterecords of interventions with pupils, together with detailing their progress and achievement.They will also, under the direction of the teacher, prepare differentiated work and materials for pupils’ use, display work and resources.

There may be a requirement to work with pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans or additional educational needs throughout the Key Stages.There may also be a requirement to administer First Aid, subject toappropriate training.

This is afixed term contract from January to July 2024 to cover maternity leave.
