A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and outstanding practitioner to join us at Haltwhistle Academy, a new Primary facility, which opened in September 2021. Our Early Years department has been created with the greatest consideration to the needs of our youngest learners and provides innovative and flexible spaces for teaching, learning and exploration. A recent review of our school described “The newly landscaped and developed outdoor provision for early years is well planned, considered and inspirational. It offers outstanding opportunities for high quality provision.”

This exceptional and enabling early years environment, alongside our experienced, outward looking team, offers an excellent opportunity for our new Early Years Leader.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced EYFS leader who will oversee all aspects of the Early Years phase, who will be able to work flexibly and creatively and will be happy to contribute to all aspects of school life.

As a member of the wider senior team the successful candidate will participate in the strategic leadership and management of the school, working in partnership with the Head Teacher and SLT to promote continuous improvement. As Phase Leader, they will be responsible for the quality of teaching and learning across the phase, as well as overseeing the effective management of the phase team and resources.

The role offers opportunities to work alongside a dedicated team of professionals both within our school and across the wider Wise Academies team.
