What skills and experience we're looking for
An exciting opportunity has arisen at West Lodge Primary School for a passionate, imaginative and enthusiastic class-teacher or existing middle leader, who is ready to take on a middle leadership role at West Lodge. We are looking for a teacher with experience working in EYFS and/or KS1 who is able to model excellent practice and take on a year group leader role for reception. This post is also suitable for a candidate who may be ready to take on a phase leader role in the near future. We wish to appoint someone who -
- Has an excellent understanding of the EYFS Framework and KS1 curriculum
- Is an excellent classroom teacher with successful experience teaching in EYFS and/or KS1
- Is committed to achieving the best outcomes for all pupils
- Is able to use their initiative and work well with others
- Has a strong commitment to inclusion with high expectations for all learners
- Is flexible, enthusiastic and passionate
- Is willing to learn and update skills and knowledge
