Facilities Assistant job summary

Manor Wood Primary School is looking to appoint an experienced Facilities Assistant to join our strong school team and support health and safety maintenance and general cleanliness. This is a permanent, all year-round post working Monday to Friday on a two weekly rotating shift cycle with our current Site Superintendent. The hours of the post are 30 per week.

This post is to work under the direction of the Headteacher, 0 - 11 Business Manager, Site Superintendent and Trust Facilities and Estates Manager to ensure school premises are maintained to a high standard - including cleanliness, routine maintenance, health and safety, and minor repairs. This post will suit candidates who are highly motivated, have the best outcomes for children at heart, and have a keen eye for detail.

We are looking for candidates who have:

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as a team with staff and outside agencies.

Energy and enthusiasm for this exciting challenge.

A commitment to continuing professional development.
