Location: Springfield Primary School, Bedford

Salary: NJC Level 3 Point 6-8 (£25,183 - £25,992 per annum)

Contract Terms: Full Time, Permanent

Hours/Weeks: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Closing Date: Monday 4th August 2025 at 9:00am

We are seeking a committed and hard working individual to join our school as a Facilities Assistant to support the school in all areas of general maintenance, care and upkeep of the school's buildings, grounds and facilities.

The role will include ensuring that the school site is maintained to a high standard at all times which will include undertaking opening and closing duties for the site. Ideally, the ability to carry out electrical, plumbing, carpentry and other general repairs around the school site would be advantageous.

If you feel you have the right mix of good communicational skills, a general understanding of Health & Safety practices, competent in basic DIY, and can work as part of a team, then we would welcome an application from you. You need to have a flexible approach to working hours, high standards and a positive attitude.

Full training, support and induction will be provided.
