About the role
We are looking for an experienced Facilities Operations Manager to lead estates and facilities operations across our Multi-Academy Trust. Reporting to the Head of Estates and Facilities, you’ll ensure our academies run in safe, compliant and well-maintained environments that inspire learning and support community use.
This leadership role covers compliance, planned and reactive maintenance, capital projects and management of facilities and cleaning teams. You’ll drive high standards, continuous improvement and effective service delivery across all sites.
What we are looking for
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Operations Manager with a strong background in estates and facilities management. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical knowledge, proven organisational and leadership skills, and the ability to drive high standards of service across multiple sites while maintaining safe, compliant and inspiring learning environments. You will have experience managing planned and reactive maintenance programmes, leading diverse teams and building positive working cultures. A strong understanding of statutory compliance and health & safety regulations is essential, alongside excellent organisational and data-driven skills. A NEBOSH, OSH, or equivalent Health & Safety qualification, together with IWFM Level 3+ or a facilities management certification, is highly desirable but not essential.
