Full time: 39 hours per week Monday to Friday plus some weekend farm work

N5 £28,163 - £30,060 p.a.

What skills and experience we're looking for

Please note that this is a physically demanding role and there is a requirement to work on the school farm.

Experience of working within facilities management in an educational or business establishment

Ability to communicate effectively with staff, visitors, contractors, members of the public and the Emergency services.

Ability to help manage site maintenance budgets and prepare cost estimates and monitor expenditure if required

Able to undertake basic administrative tasks including ordering, record keeping, reporting and ordering procedures, if required

Ability to work effectively with colleagues at different levels

Ability to maintain high standards

Pro-active and systematic approach to problem solving

Excellent organisational, prioritising and time management skills.

Have a range of skills and or experience to undertake various repairs and maintenance tasks within the buildings i.e. plumbing/joinery/construction

Ability to work in accordance with the school’s health and safety policies

Ability to travel between sites, full driving licence
