What skills and experience we're looking for

The Village School is seeking an experienced, passionate, and proactive Family Liaison, Attendance and Transitions Officer to join our specialist SEND school. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to improving outcomes for children and young people with complex needs by building strong partnerships with families and supporting attendance, engagement, and successful transitions. You will work closely with families, school staff, safeguarding colleagues, and external agencies to ensure every learner receives the support they need to thrive.

This is an on-site role at The Village School.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share in this obligation. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure by the DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service), and all checks in relation to KCSIE (Keeping Children Safe in Education) September 2026 will be carried out.
