Family Liaison Worker job summary

We are looking to appoint a highly-motivated and committed person to join our friendly, hardworking and enthusiastic school team. This post is for 2.5 hours per week on a 1 year fixed term contract initially, with opportunity for extension.

The successful candidate must share The EMBARK Trust core beliefs: Family, Integrity, Teamwork and Success.

They must be able to demonstrate secure knowledge and understanding of the policies and procedures around safeguarding young people and should have some experience of the role

We wish to appoint someone with a positive, out-going and caring approach, who can build positive relationships with pupils and their families and is committed to their welfare and well-being.

We would welcome applications from candidates who have experience of working with a range of agencies and organisations.

Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, candidates will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
