What skills and experience we're looking for
The Priory Witham Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Family Support Assistant to join a school that makes a genuine difference to its students and supports its staff to achieve their individual goals. The successful candidate will have commitment to young people and their development, with an understanding of the issues our families in need face and an ability to empathise whilst setting high expectations and clear boundaries. The postholder will be involved in preventative work, working directly with children and families in the local community.
The post includes recording of information using the school’s database systems, as well as other day to day administration processes. Candidates who are flexible, organised, possess outstanding interpersonal skills, are at ease working in a team environment but also with independence and initiative and are IT literate, are welcome to apply. Training will be provided as necessary.
