LOCATION: PRIORY SCHOOL, MOUNT ROAD, BURY ST EDMUNDS, SUFFOLK
CONTRACT TYPE: PERMANENT
WORKING ARRANGEMENTS: 15 HOURS PER WEEK/ 39 WEEKS PER YEAR
MONDAY AND TUESDAY (INCLUSIVE): 08:30-16:30
INCLUDES 30 MINS BREAK EACH DAY (UNPAID)
The Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Academies Trust (SENDAT) is a Multi-Academy Trust whose provisions support a range of needs including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health and Behavioural (SEMH) needs. Our core aim is to provide for the continuum of special needs across the Eastern region.
All SENDAT schools and alternate provisions have Trauma Informed practices embedded across the curriculum and SENDAT staff colleagues are given training and support to develop and use these skills in their day-to-day working.
As part of the learning support team at Priory School, you will work in close conjunction with Teaching and Support staff colleagues to provide high quality support and guidance to student and their families. Your core purpose will be to raise expectations and aspirations and be instrumental in providing a lasting, positive impact on the educational and life outcomes for students with a diversity and range of SEND.
