Family Support Worker (FSW) and learning mentor job summary
We are looking for a calm, positive and nurturing person to lead on day to day family support and deliver some pastoral interventions to identified children. This role will include liaising with the Head teacher, Deputy head teacher, SENCo and HABS our external family support. We have a dedicated office for our family support worker with a family room attached. Experience of supporting families is essential, training to deliver interventions can be organised. The role will include working some of the school holidays and all INSET days. This is an exciting position where the successful applicant will ahve the opportunity to work across both Oxhey Wood and Warren Dell. Start time will be 8am, to finish at 4pm however, there may need to be some flexibility to meet the needs of our children and their families.
A clean driving license is essential as you may accompany parents to meetings and will be expected to attend meetings. Training will also be organised for the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead(DSL).
Visits to the school are very welcome.
