Family Support Worker job summary

We’re looking for someone special to work closely with our pupils, families, and staff to ensure every child’s welfare is supported and every family feels empowered to access the help they need.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Working as part of the safeguarding team to ensure our children are kept safe both in and out of school

  • Partnering with parents and children to improve wellbeing and outcomes across the school

  • Boosting attendance for identified pupils through proactive support

  • Organising workshops to support our school community

  • Collaborating with external agencies to provide holistic support and attending safeguarding meetings

  • Delivering tailored, one-to-one support to families who need it most
