Family Support Worker job summary

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Family Support Worker who has recent experience of working with children, young people and families to support the needs of the community which we serve.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of our staff team, dedicated to giving the children the best life chances possible, and living out the School’s mission, ‘You are precious in My eyes’

We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and knowledgeable person to:

  • work with a genuine child-centred approach;
  • work alongside other agencies to deliver services to parents and children
  • deliver established procedures to address the needs of pupils and their parents/carers who require additional support to overcome the barrier to learning; including attendance, punctuality, health and pastoral support
  • promote and deliver safeguarding processes within school as a Designated Safeguarding Lead

This position is term time + 2 weeks, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
