We are seeking a committed and experienced Family worker and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) to join our dedicated safeguarding team at Neale-Wade Academy. This is a vital role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and protection of all our students. If you are passionate about safeguarding children and young people, and have the skills to support and guide staff in this area, we would love to hear from you.

About the role:

As the DDSL, you will take shared responsibility for safeguarding and child protection across the school. You will work closely with staff, students, families, and external agencies to ensure all concerns are managed appropriately and in line with legislation and policy. You will be a source of support and guidance to staff and contribute to multi-agency work where needed.

There will be a requirement to travel in this role.
