Kepier is an exciting place to teach. Our staff are friendly, supportive and dedicated. We follow an inspirational curriculum which helps to prepare our young people fully for the challenges of adult life.
You will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic colleague who is keen to make a difference. Your role will be instrumental in delivering the Kepier vision of highly engaging, interactive and challenging learning experiences for our learners in PE. You will be a practitioner who has the vision, energy and drive to build on our existing strengths. You will also have enthusiasm for promoting/driving extracurricular activities and building upon previous successes.
The post holder will be required to teach across the full age and ability range and, therefore, candidates must have good knowledge and understanding of KS3 and KS4 PE. We require a female practitioner, as supervision of female changing rooms is an essential element of this role.
Applications are welcomed from both NQTs and experienced teachers. Kepier is a dynamic Academy, firmly committed to staff development, with a highly regarded and supportive induction programme for NQTs.
Kepier is committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people. Enhanced Certificate of Disclosures are required for this position. Please note that in all cases written references will be sought and made available to interviewers before the final selection stage.
Commitment to safeguarding
The school is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. As part of our due diligence and to comply with our obligations in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, an online search of publicly available information will be undertaken for all shortlisted candidates. All School posts are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore applicants will be subject to appropriate background checks and vetting including an enhanced DBS check and checks against the children’s barred list.
