Finance Assistant and Cover Administrator job summary

St Ives School is seeking to recruit a Finance Assistant and Cover Administrator to join our friendly admin team. We are looking for an experienced administrator with excellent communication skills to be responsible for the school’s financial administration in accordance with TPAT Financial Procedures. You will also be required to ensure effective cover is in place for absent teachers & support staff as well as providing support for Reception and the Administration Team, as appropriate and when required. Experience of working in a school environment would be advantageous. The successful applicant will need to be well organised, calm, flexible and able to provide an efficient and professional service to a wide range of school visitors, staff, parents and students. Enthusiasm for working with children is essential, as are good IT skills. You will join a dedicated and supportive staff team as part of our thriving school community.
