Finance Assistant job summary

We are looking to appoint a
driven and energetic Finance Assistant who will support and enhance the
school's finance function. You will support the School Business Manager and
Finance Manager to maintain the school's  financial performance to enable
pupils and staff to reach their potential. 

Hours: 28 hours per week,  working pattern to be negotiated. Term-time only.

The ideal
candidate:


  • Experience
    & knowledge of finance in an education setting.

  • Experience
    with accounting/budgeting software & Microsoft packages.

  • Experience
    of working in a finance-based role.

  • Have
    excellent written & verbal communication skills.

  • Embrace

    to manage own time and prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines.

We are a two-site school in the market town of Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. We have over five hundred and sixty main school pupils in addition to those attending our Early Years provision which brings our total number to nearly seven hundred.
